I had the opportunity to meet Eric Sand in the mythical club Sunset (Almería) I remember that this morning he delighted us with a special hardtechno set, since that day we became friends and began to share music, without a doubt for me a great Dj and producer worth listening to.
Eric began to listen to techno at the age of 13 with the references of Umek, Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, and Marco Carola who we can say have been his mentors, he began attending parties from a very young age, forging a unique musical style influenced by the artists previously mentioned. It wasn’t until he was 17 when he started playing electronic music, he bought two turntables and spent three months practicing until he just learned it, and shortly he got his first job as a DJ at a pub called La Bolerita. His career took off, starting to play in legendary venues in Almería such as Sala Boss, Chamán, Discoteca Malibú, etc. In 2005, after a party in which he shared a line up with Pepo, he made a special set with the percussionist Toni Maravillas, he began to DJ all over the national and international scene, in venues such as Fabrik, Sala Wow, La Cova, (Barcelona), Loop Room, La Isla (Murcia). He has also played in numerous festivals such as Electronic Weekend Festival, in a presentation of the Aquasella with the artist David Mallada in Asturias, Berlanga Festival (Cáceres), Selvatek (Tarragona), Delirium Hard Electronic Music Festival (Barcelona). In Europe, he has played in Portugal and Italy.

He has been lucky enough to share a booth with the best DJs in the world: CRISTIAN VARELA, BEN SIMS, PAUL MAC, KEVIN SAUNDERSON, SURGEON, FRANK KVITTA, FERNANDA MARTINS, RAUL MEZCOLANZA, SVEN WITTEKIND, ROBERT NATUS, ERIC MORILLO, PEPO, CARL FALILLO , BANDO, LADY K, HORACIO CRUZ, DAVID MOLEON, SERGY CASTTLE, OBI, PEDRO DEL MORAL, FATIMA HAJJI, NUKE, DARKROW, CESAR ALMENA, IVÁN DEVERÓ, DEREK ZOO, FER BR, MARCO CAROLA, ANGERFIST, DJ LUKAS , RICHIE HAWTIN, CARL COX, NHITTO, ERIC SNEO, VIPER XXL …
But DJing only bored him and he decided to start in the world of music production, in 2013, his first song The Weakness was released by Fatima Hajji’s label, Standbite, there he have produced more than 200 tracks that are edited on Beatport.
Eric Sand is a versatile Dj who produces and plays numerous musical styles with different a.k.as Ulrik, Henry Storm, Kevin Smith, publishing them on important labels such as Tecchturbation Records, Intuition Records, Dream Records…
He has remixed songs for Du’Art, Boriqua Tribez etc.
He also has its own label called Roomrecords in which artists such as Horacio Cruz, César Almena, Goncalo M, Sergy Casttle, Silvina Romero, L. Groove, Mark Rey, G Tech have been published their tracks.
