I had the opportunity to meet and listen to Daniel (DJ Popis) for the first time at a party that a good friend and I organized at the legendary Sala Wow (former Energy) in Granada, Spain. The main artist of the party was David Mallada and we decided to take local DJs from Andalusia aside and he was who makes the closing, a set without a doubt to remember. Since that day we became friends and started sharing music.
Vinyl lover, this veteran Dj from Baena, Córdoba began his career in 2001. His dexterity at the decks, his great agility and his good selection have allowed him to be part of the Andalusian scene, playing in various clubs throughout his career. He is currently part of the DUBBA RECORDS sub-label known as UNDERWAX, the revelation label of 2017 recognized by Radio 3. He also belongs to the PARTY GOO collective as a Dj and promoter of events opening the way for young promises of electronics.
